Crimped Train

This week’s new color challenge at Stamp TV is:

Here is my card using the GKD stamp set Life is Good by Theresa Momber. I chose to do split negative using the train.

The white and black cardstock was cut to 3”X3” using a stamp-a-majig, the image was stamped in the same place on both copies with versamark, then the white piece was embossed with detail black, the black piece embossed with detail white. The two pieces were then cut in half, and put back together using one white piece and one black piece, on a red layer. The black layer was run through a paper crimper. The card base is red and the sentiment is from the GKD set Purrr-fectly Delightful also by Theresa Momber. Stamped in onyx black versafine on a piece of white cardstock cut out with a SU punch. The little trains are from a MS border punch, punched in black and white, and trimmed up with scissors. The smoke from the train was cut from another train image and popped on a foam dot. Thanks for stopping by and leaving any comments.
