Get Snow

This card is for the MFT sketch challenge this week. I started working on it yesterday evening,  and chose the MFT stamp set Rain or Shine because it seemed fitting, it was supposed to snow here last night.  The main image was stamped twice with onyx black versafine, once on white paper, the second on bright yellow with white polka dots. The yellow polka dot image was cut apart for the raincoat and boots. Since the boots had polka dots stamped on top of the polka dot dp, I colored those black with a SU marker, then stamped the umbrella on bright yellow with onyx black versafine, so the yellow would show through in the polka dots of the umbrella. I must be on a polka dot kick for this card. The skin on the white part was colored with prismacolored pencils and goo gone, then the rain coat and boot were attached. I left the dog off, so the image would take up less space. The dark blue layer was punched with a MS snowflake border punch, two dies from the spellbinders create a flake one set was used for the larger snowflakes. Also for the larger snowflakes, I used a white gel pen on the larger of the two, and sponged stormy sky distress ink, then used a clear glitter pen on the smaller one, put together with a silver mini brad. The light blue behind the image was run through the cuttlebug with a spellbinders snowflake impressabilities , then sponged with stormy sky distress ink. The small white snowflakes were punched with the same MS border punch used on the blue layer. For the sentiment, I stamped versamark on a transparency film, embossed with detail black and cut out with one of the spellbinders ribbon tags trio dies, then ran the yellow polka dot ribbon through the loops and attached with white mini brads. Thanks for stopping by.
