Flutterbys

While there is snow on the ground, and not much to do outside, I can play in my room. I made another card for the stamp tv sketch challenge and the Use It Tuesday Challenge.

This time I used an old SU set called Flutterbys, with the matching stencil. I got these on ebay a few years ago, and don’t think I have ever used them. I’m still trying to get my scrap pile down a little before dragging more new stuff out, and since the dp I was using had butterflies on it, figured the flutterby would be appropriate.  This is a two step stamping set, so first I stamped the chunky part with wild honey distress, then I stamped the outline with worn lipstick distress on white cardstock. I used the flutterby stencil and dry embossed, then cut out and embossed the image with an oval nestie. The layer behind the image and the layer behind the dp is a yellowish orange to match up with the dp. The base card is pink. The sentiment is from the GKD set Funny Farm and stamped in worn lipstick also. Thanks for stopping by and please leave me a comment, I’d love to hear from you.
